Consulting Quotes
- Consulting Services - If you are unsure about what type of components to purchase or use for your setup or need assistance in the design and layout of your Home Theater or Presentation Room then contact Custom HTI and speak with one of our Products and Design Consultants. Custom HTI's consultants will break down everything from the equipment and parts needed to the design and building of the area.
- On-site Quotes - If you have a larger or more advanced project that is in need of a more precise and accurate quote that could not be given over the phone, then you can have one of Custom HTI's Consultants come to your location to give you a full site evaluation. Along with a site evaluation Custom HTI will give you details on the scope of work that would be required to complete your project / task along with a break down and pricing of materials, supplies, and equipment that would be required. All information provided during the onsite quote will be neatly organized on one of our quote invoices that will have a full breakdown of everything discussed. (Some Areas Qualify for Free On-site quotes, As for the Rest The average charge for Custom HTI's onsite quotes is $35 for the first hour in which half of the final quoting charge is credited towards your final invoice). *If for any reason we at Custom HTI are unable to perform your installation and setup then we will waive the charge of the onsite quote.
- Over The Phone Quotes - Custom HTI offers Free Over The Phone Quotes for all our basic services such as TV & Speaker Mounting, Component Connectivity, etc. If you are interested in a quote for our more advanced services, then we can give you average prices for the services. If an accurate quote is required or preferred then we recommend having one of Custom HTI's Consultants come to your location to perform a site evaluation.
- Interior Designer - Custom HTI has an Interior Designer That is Available for Contract. Custom HTI works side by side with the interior designer to guarantee the best outcome of your installation and setup along with the design and style of the Room and Area. The Interior Designer is also available for independent contract for Additional Projects and Purposes. The Interior Designer Custom HTI uses for Contract has the experience and background you would expect from the best Chicago Designers. Move In Services
- Furniture Assembly - Custom HTI's Installation Tech's are cable of setting up and assembling all of your Furniture and Accessories. This service is perfect for both Home Owners and Business Owners. Custom HTI can setup and assemble any and all of your Furniture and Accessories. This service is designed to help you get started in your new location but is also for current property owners who would like ease in the process.
- Decor Installation - Custom HTI can also install and setup all your decor accessories such as lighting fixtures, drapes, blinds, art, mirrors, etc. We also mount and install Headboards, Writing Boards, Mirrors, Equipment, etc. and can even securely fasten anything you may want to prevent from being removed.
Troubleshooting
- Audio / Video Issues - If your having issues with your Audio and Video equipment, Custom HTI will arrive at your location to troubleshoot and if possible resolve the problem. If Custom HTI cannot locate the problem then there is no charge for troubleshooting, however if we do locate the problem but cannot resolve the problem, then a small fee is applied.
- PC & Laptop Issues - If you are having issues with your Personal Computer or Laptop, Custom HTI will come to your location to troubleshoot the issue and resolve it if possible. If in order to resolve the issue additional hardware or materials are needed that are not available onsite, then the customer can order or purchase the necessary parts or if they prefer Custom HTI can order and purchase the parts and return to complete the task when items have arrived.
- Wireless / Network / Wi-Fi / WAP Issues - If you are having issues with your Network, Wireless Network, Router, WAP or any other equipment, Then Custom HTI will arrive on site and troubleshoot the issue and if possible resolve the issue. If the issue is un resolvable, then the Custom HTI technician on site will give you a suggestion and possible options to get you up and running as soon as possible.
TV Mounting & Setup
- LCD / Plasma / LED TV Setup - Setup of any LCD or Plasma TV on any flat surface (ex: counter top, table top, dresser, etc.). This service includes complementary connectivity and hookup of 3 components (ex: Cable, DVD, Sat., etc.).
- LCD / Plasma / LED TV Mounting - Mounting of any LCD or Plasma TV on any Surface (Wall, Stone, Fireplace, etc.) using customer supplied mount or Custom HTI supplied mount. Service includes complementary hookup and connectivity of up to 3 components.
- In-wall Wiring - Along with your LCD / Plasma TV Mounting or Setup, you can get all your audio video cables and wire ran and hidden behind your wall to give your Home Theater and TV Setup that finishing touch that makes it look neat, organized, and professional.
- Outlet Relocation - Along with your LCD / Plasma TV Mounting or Setup, you can get all your audio video cables and wire ran and hidden behind your wall to give your Home Theater and TV Setup that finishing touch that makes it look neat, organized, and professional.
- Component Setup - Setup and connectivity of additional components (ex: dvd, cable, Xbox, etc.) to TV or A/V Receiver.
Surround Sound Setup & Install
- Surround Sound Setup - Setup of Surround Sound Stereo's, Receivers, Amplifiers, Multi Zone Systems, etc.
- Component Setup - Connectivity and Setup of Audio Video Components (ex: DVD, Xbox, Cable, Sat., etc.) to Surround Sound System and A/V Receivers.
- Speaker Mounting - Mounting and Alignment of Front and Rear Surround Sound Speakers to any surface wall and ceiling.
- In-wall Speaker Install - Install and Setup of In-wall and Ceiling speakers. (Issues may occur and are not guaranteed on some outer walls consisting of plaster or brick)
- PC Home Theater Integration - Custom HTI can setup and integrate your PC and Laptop with your Hi Def TV and Surround Sound Stereo. This will give you the ability to view, watch, listen, and access all your computer files and programs using your TV and Stereo System.

- Universal Remote Programming - Programming of Advanced, Smart and Macro Universal Remotes with and without RF Systems
- RF and Emitter Setup - Setup and Installation of Universal Remote RF system along with device IR emitters. This Allows For Around The House and Business Control Of Equipment.
- IR Distribution System - Setup of IR Distribution System for Blind Sight and Hidden Device Operation. Includes the Installation and Setup of Hardware. Both Plasma and LCD Compatible IR Systems Available.

- Equipment Replacement / Upgrade - Custom HTI can upgrade, replace, and setup any equipment and hardware in your computer (ex: Hard Drive, Graphics Card, DVD-Rom, etc.)
- Peripheral Hookup - Connectivity and setup of any and all Peripheral Devices (ex: Printers, Scanners, External Storage Devices, etc.)

Luxury Services
- LCD / Plasma / LED TV Frame - A Custom Fit Frame for your LCD and Plasma TV that gives it a custom look and style that fits your decor. Different frames, styles, and colors available.
- LCD / Plasma / LED TV Mirror - A custom fit frame and mirror that is designed to be placed over your LCD / Plasma TV to give it an elegant style that makes your TV mesh and blend with your home and business when not in use. This is ideal for rooms that have an elegant style in which a TV would normally be an eye sore. The frame and mirror are placed over your TV and when the TV is off you see a standard mirror appearance, but when the tv is turned on the mirror fades away to expose the picture from your Hi Def TV. Different colors, styles, and frames available.
Car Audio / Video Installation
- Automotive / Car Stereo Installation - Custom HTI offers Automotive / Car Stereo Installation and Upgrade. Customers can special order Head Units from Custom HTI or supply their own. This is Custom HTI's Basic Installation Package which consists of installing a Head Unit in a vehicle or Replacement / Upgrade of existing unit in vehicle.
- Automotive / Car Sound System Installation - Custom HTI also offers Installation of Automotive/ Car Sound Systems. This Installation consists of the installation of a control head unit (Stereo, CD Player, Tape Deck, etc.), Installation of Speakers, Installation of Sub woofers, and the running of wire for both power, control, and sound.
- Automotive / Car Video and Monitor Installation - This Installation grade is for the installation of monitors / LCD displays for video viewing. Custom HTI will integrate and install monitors to a DVD / Navigation System for Distribution to all areas of the vehicle. This installation would consist of the installation of a DVD playing Head Unit, Running of Audio Video Cables, and the Installation and Setup of LCD Monitors in seats or other numerous areas.
- Automotive / Car Lighting - Along with car audio installation, Custom HTI also offers services for the installation of car accent lighting for both interior and exterior use. This service includes the wiring of all lighting and the installation of a control box module that can controls the actions of individual accent lights.
Home Theater PC (HTPC)
- About HTPC - Home Theater PC's are Custom High Definition Media Players. They Can Be Used to Play Movies, Music, Online Media, Browse the Internet, etc. HTPC's are also used as Movie Libraries. You can copy all of your DVD's and Blu-ray Movies to it and Access your entire movie collection from your remote control without every switching a Disc. - Setup of HTPC - Setup of HTPC System to your current or new Home Theater Setup.
- Custom Built HTPC - Custom HTI can Custom Build a HTPC to suite your every need. Basic and Advanced HTPC's are available for build.
Intercom Repair & Installation
- Residential Intercom Repair - This service includes the troubleshooting and repair of an existing intercom system in a residential household. If for any reason the system is not repairable our technicians can give you a quote and details of a new system that is reliable, durable and meets all of your needs.
- Residential Intercom Install - This service includes the installation and setup of a new intercom system. This includes cable installation along with the installation of a master station, room stations, patio stations and door bell station for residential households.
- Apartment Intercom Repair - This service includes the troubleshooting and repair of an existing intercom system in an apartment complex or building. If for any reason our technicians are unable to repair the intercom, they will discuss different solutions to get your building intercom operating as soon as possible.
- Apartment Intercom Install - This service includes the installation and setup of a new intercom system in an apartment complex or building. This includes the running of necessary cables along with the installation of amplifiers, apartment stations, entry stations, door strikes and relays.
Public Address System (PA System)
